We are located 20 minutes from Santa Cruz, 45 minutes from San Jose, and 60 minutes from San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey. Cell phone coverage is limited in the area so it is recommended to print a map or download an offline map on your phone for directions.

Camino de California Eucharistic Pilgrimage 2025
Holy Spirit ChapelSt. Clare's Retreat welcomes pilgrims of the Camino de California Eucharistic Pilgrimage. Lodging is available at $100 per person, per night. The fee for married couples staying in one room together is $175 per night. Registration closes on Wednesday, June 4. Meals are not offered for this event. Check in is between 6-7 pm and check out is by 10 am. We have a limited amount of rooms available for this event. Six of the rooms have two single beds and the rest have one full-sized bed. First floor rooms are very limited. Please let us know in the comments box if you have any medical reasons that require you to be on the first floor.A 3.5% fee applies to all credit card transactions and is included in the fee. You may mail payment by check to avoid these fees. Full payment is due on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Please contact the office at 831-423-8093 if you have questions. Office hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Check in time is limited to 6-7 pm due to the contemplative schedule of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows who operate the retreat center.
