Join us for aSilent Retreat for Men & Womenon June 6-8. This retreat will be directed by Fr. Matthew Hincks, ORC.
Fr. Matthew Hincks, ORC joined the Order of Canons Regular of the Holy Cross in 1988, was ordained in 1998 in Detroit, MI, and has been giving retreats and missions for the Work of the Holy Angels (Opus Sanctorum Angelorum) for the past 25 years. He is currently stationed at the St. Gabriel Monastery of the Order of Canons Regular of the Holy Cross that is located in Carrollton, OH in the Diocese of Steubenville, OH.
Description of the conferences:
Conference I: The Cross and the Shroud: An explanation of what Jesus suffered during His passion and death based on the Shroud of Turin.
Conference II: The Angels and Prayer: How the the Holy Angels can act as both intercessors and examples of prayer for us.
Conference III: Twelve Steps to Holiness. A twelve step program that can help sinners to become saints.
Conference IV: Our Lady of Champion: An overview of the first approved Marian apparition in the United States.
Conference V: The Resurrection: A review and analysis of what will happen to our bodies on the Last Day when Jesus comes to judge the living and the dead.
This retreat will take place in an atmosphere of silence to allow everyone the freedom to have a personal heart to heart dialogue with the Lord and experience His Love anew.
Check in time is 4-6p on Friday. The retreat concludes at 12p on Sunday. If you would like to stay an extra night at the beginning of the retreat, the cost is $100 per person, per night.
